Denise Drabik, M.S.W., C-ASWCM is the President and founder of Senior Crossroads, A Professional Geriatric Care Management Company located in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
Ms. Drabik has more than 20 years of Care Management experience. Her interest in human services began early when she worked for her father, a physical therapist, at the ripe age of 13. She watched her father's holistic approach to treatment and saw the important role he played in helping his clients solve their problems. She finds this aspect of her work the most satisfying. By listening to what her clients and their families say and what they do not say, Denise commits to identifying the issues and coming up with solutions. She recognizes the importance of meeting the client where they are and allowing them to move toward their goals at their own pace. Her approach to working with her "clients" is to treat each client as if they were a member of her own family. She has spent her entire career working with the elderly and disabled.
Denise holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Aging Life Care Association. Denise has extensive experience in hospital and home care social work.
Nancy Chupp, MSW, has been with Senior Crossroads since July 2018. Nancy received her Bachelor’s in Social Work and Master degree in Social Work from Florida State University. She has had a long career working with the elderly and vulnerable population. Following graduation, she was employed as a case manager with Senior Friendship Center assessing the elderly in the home and arranged needed services.
Nancy’s employment history consists of working as the Director of Social Services at Manor Care and at Jewish Family Services in an outreach Alzheimer’s program. Nancy continued to address the needs of the elderly and those with disabilities.
In 1990, Nancy made a family commitment and stayed-at-home raising four boys. She returned to work in 2000 as a case manager and later as a supervisor at Lutheran Family Services Guardianship Program advocating for those in need as court appointed guardian.
In 2013, Nancy accepted a position as assistant administrator at Renaissance Manor Assisted Living Facility with a mental health license.
Nancy is compassionate about caring for others and taking care of the “little things” that do matter! She is honored to work with a dedicated team at Senior Crossroads!
Michelle Messick has been with Senior Crossroads since December 2021. Michelle graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Minor in Gerontology.
After many years as an Activity Director in a long-term care facility, she studied to become a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Michelle worked as an Executive Director with Brookdale Senior Living for about three years and immensely enjoyed working with families, residents, and staff.
Before joining Senior Crossroads, Michelle’s experience consisted of working as an Activity Director, Social Services Director, Nursing Home Administrator, Marketing and Case Manager.
Michelle’s favorite part of being a Care Manager is being able to empower, encourage, and advocate for her clients to have the best quality of life and celebrate small successes.

Thank you so much for your impeccable professional services and warmth and wisdom. My parents have made a wonderful transition to assisted living, accomplished without any crises, and your advice and involvement are what made it possible for me to accomplish this substantial change in their situation with little drama and such a good outcome. Thank you. Wishing you continued success.
What can I say? I have waited a while to gather my thoughts and still I am not sure how to put into words how grateful we are for the many ways in which you have been a blessing to us. There is no way I could ever begin to list the many kindnesses you have shown. Your professional competence is amazing. In a world in which too many people promise too much, and then deliver too little, you serve as a role model for all of us.
What can I say about Denise? She is my Guardian Angel, without her I would be stumbling. She has enhanced my life for the better, not to mention my brother's. Her outstanding care, compassion and attention to detail fulfill all our needs and wants. God bless her, and thank-you for being my Angel.
Denise is extremely kind and knowledgable. She genuinely cares about Mom, and the entire family. She goes out of her way to provide my mother with all things necessary to ensure her a happy, active life. She seems to have an abundance of great resources. I look forward to seeing Denise each month. Her compassion and sense of humor make our visits very pleasant. Her expertise in the field of Eldercare allows my mother to enjoy a comfortable, quality life.
As we near the end of our almost ten-year relationship keeping watch over my father, I want to tell you how much I appreciate your service and your team. I can't say enough good things about Nancy and her professionalism and thoughtfulness. I at all times had confidence in your organization ensuring Irv's welfare throughout this difficult but all too common situation. It's a difficult but critically needed business you are in and you are to be commended.
